We investigate the interaction of chemical, microbial and environmental factors and human biological systems to improve human health.
Our faculty, staff and students are exploring the complexities of our digestive, reproductive and immune systems and examining how external and internal factors impact these systems. They focus on translational approaches that can produce novel prevention and treatment strategies for conditions ranging from female infertility, to diet-related diseases (diabetes, hypertension, cancer, etc.), to infectious diseases.
