OVERVIEW
SaferFoodCats High School Summer Program is a week-long experience of a lifetime to introduce you to the science that keeps our food safe. You will learn and practice techniques used in real-world food safety laboratories at the University of Arizona. SaferFoodCats 2022 will run as a full-day in-person program from June 6-10 with a ceremony on June 11 in the morning.
The program welcomes applications from all students. Because they are underrepresented in STEM, students who are of ethnic minority backgrounds (Hispanic, Native American, African American), are first-generation college, and/or are economically disadvantaged, are especially encouraged to apply.
