About the Emerging Infectious Disease and Medical Microbiology Emphasis
In the Emerging Infectious Disease and Medical Microbiology (EIDMM) emphasis you will learn about the microorganisms that cause human disease and the human immune response to these pathogens. This emphasis will prepare you for pre-health and allied health career pathways, including medicine, pharmacology, nursing, dentistry, physical therapy or veterinary sciences.
